WOW - it has been ages

Hmmmmm, I wish I could say that this photo was stretched and I'm not really that big, but.........
Once again it has been ages since my last post. So long that we are almost near the end (or beginning) now! Lots of new stuff going on good and bad. The bad is that we were broken into last Nov and had our computer, webcam AND digital camera stolen. We are covered by insurance luckily so have since replaced the camera and laptop (delivery to be this week sometime). The photo above was taken with the new camera, we were happy to get it in time to record the last couple of weeks!

We had a great Christmas in Calgary, with the family. Once again, despite all the promises to cut down on presents this year, we were totally spoiled by both sides of the family! New Years was spent out at the cabin in Fernie. Lots of snow, it was absolutely beautiful. Gareth and friends all had a chance to ski one of the days while Patrea and I stayed back at the cabin and hung out with their daughter Eva. Although I was dying to hit the slopes, the fact that lately I can fall over for absolutely no reason when standing on solid ground, we didn't think it would be a good idea to get me on a set of skis.

January is flying by, we are trying to figure out how to fit all this baby stuff into our home, and we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our new family member. We are still in the dark as to if it is a girl or a boy but we do know it has very long legs! It is a fairly common thing for me to have a bum sticking out of the middle of my belly and a foot poking out my side. :-)

Hope all is well with everyone. We are 4 weeks from the deadline so 'WATCH THIS SPACE' we may have some cute baby photo's soon.

Lots of love
Kerri

Kerri,

Sorry to hear about the break-in. Looks like all is going to plan and the countdown can officially begin!!

Just remember how difficult the 'whole birth thing' is for the dad to be. It is a very difficult process for us guys and some serious support is required from our wives to 'pull us through'!!!

Good luck

Dave, Olga, Holly & Emma.
